the last week or so i have been havng trouble with my battery going flat,i have been through 3 batterys in a week but the 1st 1 i fully charged it up and it worked 4 bwt 3 days, but thn it kept dieing so put anouther battery in and tht died, and then another and tht just died 2day.have been told it could be my alternator but thn a mechanic told me it could e sum wiring.but wen the battery goes flat my rev counter strts bouncing up and down and my radio and radar detector strt going nuts,any1 have any ideas on wat the problem could b.

im geting it checked owt tomorow, but i have a volt gauge in my ute and it sits on just over quarter,16 is the highest on the gauge just wondering if it should sit just over quarter or should it be higher???

If you have a multi-meter then put that across the battery terminals when its running, it should be 13.5 - 14.5 volts, if not then theres a problem. Alternators can either over charge or under charge to no charge.
