is this a satisfactory rust repair for wof ? pics inside

is this ok rust repair for a wof ? failed a vtnz wof on rust as it was bogged to hell by old owner, so cut it out and did that. will that pass ?
its the floor on passenger side. the bolt is a body mount

Looks to be good work man but at a guess Id say they will want it fully welded instead of spot welded.

Yeh fully weld it and the wof inspector needs to see it in bare metal, being a body mount tho he might get a bit itchy about it not being done by a professional. Can't remember what the law states about who can do the repair.

dont forget to plug that hole in the last pic... unless your like me and have a permanent drain hole for on wet days :lol: :lol:

dad took it in. ok first they said it looks good just seam weld it up. now they are asking for a repair cert ? WTF ? someone help me out i dont want to spend a couple of hundred dollars on a repair cert on a car this cheap. as long as its a soild repair it should be ok ?

If they think it isn't a good enough repair they can ask for a repair cert, I would question them on why they believe it isn't adequate and what exactly they want done to fix it. Or find a mate who is a panelbeater to give you an opinion on it, looks fine to me once fully welded so you might find someone happy to ok it for a box of beer.
