Postby biocks » Fri Dec 04, 2009 11:58 am

Hi guys,
I brought a tig welder about a month ago and have only used it a few times mucking around. I have never used one before and im wanting to learn how!!! Does anyone know of a good short course i could do like 3 day or a week on how to. Or would anyone be keen to show me how to do it?? Give me a few lesons on how to set it etc??? If some ones keen ill bring my tig and gas and rods. And im happy to pay a bit for there time. Any help or tips would be a big help too thanx

I know these things do mint welds and ive done a couple that looked semi good so i know it cant be that hard (surly) :? Think ive just got all the settings wrong.

The man is a master of all things metal and a really good teacher to boot. I did a 2 day metal fab course recently and learnt a fuckload.
You should see his welds! 8-)

Theres also a few clips on youtube that may help or im not sure how far you are form a polytech or uni but they tend to run night classes starting at all levels and are quite reasonably priced.
