im not too sure about having drifting on a 'track' day though, the days i have been to have been dedicated drift days, marshals get prety ansy if the grass gets all skid up, which is fair enough..

Nice vids i still havent been to the track yet so i cant say weather or not it suits drifting but looks like a fast drift track and im all for that

Hey guys
Those of you who have a long way to travel or have more than one car to bring to the event, we have arranged a subsidised deal with Car Haulaways to help out getting everyone to the event

Details are yet to be confirmed but the guts of it is cheaper rates for shifting you ride about

We have been working away in the background gathering more prizes & displays etc for you all to enjoy
This is going to be a monster event

A couple of announcements:

Exceedy clutches are on board as a sponsor

Steve Millen will be there with his R35 GTR Targa car & will be out on the track doing hot laps!!

The car featured in this epic thread ( http://www.gtr.co.uk/forum/113131-rips- ... -borg.html ) will be there as will its owner from the UK. (no better place to learn to drive a 1000hp GTR than the race track )

Places for track time are filling steadily and so far we only have around 1-2% of cars on the track being Datsuns
Come on guys lets get some of the older cars out there & whip some of the young ones in to shape!!

We will soon be taking registrations for those who wish to enter only the show n shine event as with so much interest in the event we are going to have to limit numbers (around 200 maximum), you can still show up & put your car on display without entering but just wont officially be in to win prizes.

We have The Rock on board as a sponsor & will be doing promo work for the event etc.

Advertising has begun in magazines & will soon hit the newspapers etc.

Looking forward to seeing some Nissan/Datsun minitrucks there - will set aside some time for a parade/demonstration if we have enough interest
